We often receive common inquiries from our customers. Here are some answers to those common questions that will guide you through the whole booking experience.
General
Our office is based in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
All bookings are preferred to be generated online.
We do not provide travel insurance. We advise you to seek an authorized agent if you need one.
The booking is only for tour and does not include airport or hotel transfer. If you need transfer, please do let us know and we will arrange accordingly. There will be an extra charge for transfer. We will advise the total amount once confirmed.
Our booking DO NOT include meals and accommodations. You can always ask us for recommendations. We do not charge for such service.
Yes, we do provide custom VIP tour packages. Please do email us at thailandviptour@gmail.com with the details and we’ll assist you further.
Yes you can. Please provide us their name and contact information so that our driver knows who they are on that day.
We suggest that you book your flight and hotel first before you proceed to book our tour. Rest assured, we have more than 200 VIP transport that can accommodate you. If there are any changes to your booking, you can still request for adjustments 3 days prior to the tour date.

We will furnish you the details at least 1 day prior to the departure. Please provide us with a genuine contact so that we can send you the information.
Our drivers can speak conversational English. If other languages is required, we will need to make special arrangements or provide a guide at extra charges.
Most of our drivers can speak conversational English. Unless really necessary, we can make arrangements for a guide at the language you prefer. However, there will be extra charges.
Currently, our partners are able to provide private tour via Van, Mini-SUV or a sedan. Premium SUV is also available for VIPs. The charges would be higher for such arrangements.
The pickup and drop off locations is usually at the hotel where you stay. If there are various locations, extra charges may incur. We strongly suggest a single pickup and drop off point to avoid delays. If you need special arrangements, please do let us know earlier.
Generally it is accepted 1 carry on luggage size per customer. For airport transfer, you will need to advise us on the number of luggage. We will advise the type of transportation based on the number of pax and number of luggage.
Our transport is not equipped with wheelchair, ramps or lifts. If the person is able to walk up and down the transport, the person should be able to join the tour. If you have a wheelchair that can be folded, we can make the arrangements with our partners. However, this is subject to the type of transportation you book.
Yes, please let us know earlier prior to the tour date and we will request the drivers to make the necessary arrangement for you.
Yes, we do provide gift vouchers. You will need to pay the full amount in order to redeem a gift voucher. Please email us at thailandviptour@gmail.com for the arrangements.
Payment
At the moment, we do not provide credit card payment facilities. If you are based in Malaysia or Singapore, you can wire transfer the booking fee via local bank facilities. For overseas customer, we will advise the payment method once you have placed the booking.
Credit card/cheque payment is NOT accepted on the tour date. Only cash in Thai Baht is accepted.
Our price is inclusive of the tour booking. Entrance fees, meals and accommodations are not included in our tour and should be borne/arranged by the customers. You can always ask us or our guide for recommendations. Tips or gratuities for the guides are not inclusive in this tour. If you wish to tip the drivers for their great service, that would be highly appreciated.
We welcome our customers pay the booking fee to reserve the tour. This is to enable us to secure the drivers from our partners and to confirm the booking, especially during peak season. This also will enable us to secure special entrance passes at special rates to tourist attraction places which can be sold out if not booked earlier. For customers apart from Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, we will advise the amount that needs to be paid once the order has been placed. A simple example of booking fee is as follows:
Example:
Tour A Total = 5,500 baht
Booking Fee = 1,000 baht
On tour day = 4,500 baht (You will only need to pay this amount in cash to the driver on the tour day. We may also request for you to directly pay the full amount to the driver without paying the booking fees)
If you would like to transfer the booking fee to another person, please provide us the details and we will proceed accordingly.
As part of our arrangement with our partners, it is advisable to pay the booking fee first and pay the remaining amount to the drivers respectively on your tour day. However, special arrangements can be made. Please do email us if you wish to do so.
Last minute changes is not allowed. Only case by case basis will be considered as we do not wish to interrupt the planned itinerary unless otherwise necessary.
We do not impose tax at the moment. The price is per the amount shown on the website or advised by our consultants for custom tour.
Booking
We recommend that you book your tour as soon as possible or 3 days in advance of your departure date. Tours can be sold out especially during peak season.
- Once you have completed your booking, you will receive a notification email from us.
- Within 1 to 2 days, you will receive a confirmation email from us. If there are any additional information required, we will request it from you.
- A booking voucher will be sent to your email 2 or 3 days or sooner before your departure. The voucher contain details of your tour. Please present this voucher to the driver on your tour date. It is not necessary to print the voucher. You can download and save to your phone and show it to the driver as well.
- Please remember that the voucher is your proof of purchase.

Note: Please carefully read the details in the voucher. You should immediately notify us if there are any errors on the voucher.

Please send us an email and we will resend the voucher to you.
It is advisable to purchase a local sim card when you arrive. There are a lot of local providers at the airport that provides tourist sim card. We can WhatsApp/WeChat/Line or Skype the voucher to you. If you wish to do so, please email us to request our contact number.
If there are any changes to the booking, you will need to inform us 2 days before the tour date so that necessary adjustments can be made. However, the arrangements is subject to our approval and availability.
Please send us an email or message us immediately so that we can make the necessary arrangement or cancellation. Please do provide us of a proof of delay or cancellation. You may choose to adjust the date or use it for your future booking with us. If you would like to transfer the booking fee to another person, please provide us the details and we will proceed accordingly.
In the case that your itinerary is delayed or cancelled due to force of nature or urgent situation and you’re unable to arrive on time, please contact us immediately and we will inform the driver. This is the best part of VIP Van Tour. We are flexible and can make arrangements accordingly for you.
If you are running late (no later than 3 hours), you will need to notify the driver or us immediately. Your itinerary will be affected and adjusted accordingly due to the delay. In the case where you failed to inform us, you will be considered a no-show and no refunds or arrangements can be made after that. If you are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, you can let us know and we will advise you how to proceed further.
If such circumstances occur, we will refund your booking fee and will report the driver to our partners for further action.
We strongly suggest that you follow the confirmed itinerary. Any add-ons and detour is subject to your arrangement with the driver. You will discuss the necessary fee with the driver.
Any overtime or extension of hours is subject to the driver. You will need to discuss with the driver for the overtime fee. Please note that the driver is not compulsory to meet your request and is subject to his/her availability to do the overtime.
We cannot guarantee if there are delays due to unexpected weather conditions, mechanical failures, heavy traffic or other factors which may delay your return. We are not responsible for any unforeseeable events and will try our best to assist our customers.
